Dulcima Faraway - Stroud, Gloucestershire - 2009
I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful flowers I ordered for our wedding back in July, they were perfect. I will be recommending your services to all my engaged friends.

Kerri Channell - Chertsey - 2009
This was the first time I had ordered flowers from you, and therefore I was rather apprehensive about it all, but you were very supportive and helpful which made it a lot less stressful than it could have been. I did find a couple of things confusing (and slightly nerve racking) like not realising that VAT wasn’t included in the total price until the later stages of the checkout – big oversight on my part, my credit card blocking the transaction in Euros and the tracking system suggesting there was a problem with my delivery…but you were always just an email away to help me make sense of it all and once the flowers had arrived (before lunch time on the Wednesday) I was very relieved.
(R gr Akito (rose), Eust g Mariachi blue (lisianthus), Eust e Picc blue (lisianthus), Fr en Blue Moon (freesia))
The flowers were packaged incredibly well, with great care and attention taken in order to protect them, I was very impressed! The freesias were stunning, and in excellent condition, with lots of new flower heads ready to bloom for the Saturday. The roses were gorgeous, a perfect size (I had been worried the heads would be too small) and lasted well with only a small amount suffering bruising. The purple tipped lys had a lot of new buds and those that were already out lasted well. More of the deep purple lisianthus were already out in full and had got slightly battered in transit, however due to the amount of buds it wasn’t too difficult to preserve most and encourage more to replace those I couldn’t.
(R gr Akito (rose), Eust g Mariachi blue (lisianthus), Eust e Picc blue (lisianthus), Fr en Blue Moon (freesia))
I conditioned the flowers the day they arrived and didn’t touch them again until the next day (Thursday) when I created the isle arrangements (there were ten) and bouquets (four in total), I’ve attached photos. I was able to keep them in water until the Saturday which worked brilliantly – all I had to do was tie the ribbons and remove one freesia head, which had decided to bloom earlier than expected, in the morning.
(R gr Akito (rose), Eust g Mariachi blue (lisianthus), Eust e Picc blue (lisianthus), Fr en Blue Moon (freesia))
On the Friday I created the pedestal and the arrangements for the Alta table, entrance table and singing table; and in the evening the five button holes – pictures attached. Then on the Saturday, the big day, I delivered the bouquets and button holes to the bride, created the candle arrangements (six) at the church and attached the isle arrangements – again more pictures!

All in all they looked beautiful and the bride and wedding party were thrilled! According to the mother of the bride, most of the flowers are still looking nice over a week later and one of the guests loved them so much she has asked if I would do exactly the same for her wedding in February…all I can say is that if I gain the courage to do it again…I will definitely order from you!
I also want to say a big thanks to my mum who helped me immensely...if she hadn't... I would never have completed everything on time... thanks mum!
Ailsa MacDonald - St Andrews - 2009
Flowers4florists has an easily navigable website, with clear imagery to make the selection process very simple. Your customer service is faultless, but more importantly, friendly. The quality of the flowers I received was impeccable - I had several comments from the staff at the wedding venue even before the pieces were made, that they had never seen such immaculate blooms (the hydrangeas in particular, although appearing a little tired on arrival, recovered to regain their immaculate form, with no bruising, thanks to thoughtful packaging). I look forward to using flowers4florists again for future wedding work, and although selfishly I would like to keep you as my own secret weapon, I can't help but recommend you to all!

We ordered flowers from yourselves for bouquets for my wedding which was held at the end of September 2009. We found the flowers that we got from yourselves to be lovely and went a lot further than we had anticipated. The flowers were gorgeous and my mum made them into lovely bouquets and buttonholes and she still has some of the spare flowers in vases now (three weeks later!).
I have attached a couple of photos of the flowers. I would definitely recommend to my friends ordering flowers from yourselves.

Many thanks for your email. The flowers arrived in excellent condition. They were beautiful. My friend (the bride) loved them which was the most important thing! Your service was excellent and, I believe, very good value for money. Attached are a couple of photographs showing the bride's and bridesmaid's bouquets.
We will certainly be using your services again in the future.

Clare Allen - Loughborough - 2009
I thought everything about flowers4florists was wonderful. The variety of flowers available is huge, especially where roses are concerned, the prompt replies and help was great, ensuring that I chose the flowers that complimented each other the best, and the delivery service and quality of the flowers when they arrived were faultless. I created five bridesmaid posies, one bridal bouquet, nine button holes, two big table decorations and still had flowers left over to put together a bouquet for the bride and groom. I would highly recommend this website for people who need to make large flower orders.

Just wanted to send you a quick mail to say thank you again for helping us out with the flowers for our wedding in Cadaques, Spain in June. We had so much fun arranging the flowers ourselves. I hope I will have another event soon so I can order some more flowers from you : )
I have attached some photos for you to see what we made with the flowers.

I had really hoped to be able to get back to you straight after the flowers were delivered but all too hectic!
(Phal ov wit (Phalaenopsis), Rosa Avalanche)
My flowers were delivered before 9:00 AM on the day I had ordered them for - perfect! It was quite fun using the UPS system to track them. I was surprised at the journey they had had from Holland, to Cologne in Germany, over to Stansted and on to me!
(Ge gr white Grizzly (Gerbera), Rosa Avalanche, Ge mi Whisper (Germini), Li or Helvetia (oriental Lily), Chr g Anastasia Gree (Chrysanth), Dec. Phoenix (palm leaves), Dec. Baby Blue (Eucalyptus), Dec. Ruscus Aculaetu, Ruscus Hypophyllum))
Quality overall was very good. The large white gerbera had got quite badly knocked in transit and about half weren't good enough to use, and there was a little bit of botrytis in the Grand Prix roses but other than these two things the quality was very good and I would certainly recommend you to friends and I will use the service again.
(Ge gr white Grizzly (Gerbera), Chr g Anastasia Gree (Chrysanth), Dec. Phoenix (palm leaves), Anth a Midori (Anthurium), Dec. Baby Blue (Eucalyptus), Dec. Ruscus Aculaetu, Ruscus Hypophyllum)
I was unsure whether to get them a day earlier to condition them but it wasn't necessary as they were very fresh - and besides as you'll see in the pictures we couldn’t manage without the bath for another day!!
(Phal ov roze (Phalaenopsis, Phal ov wit (Phalaenopsis), Dec. Baby Blue (Eucalyptus), Ruscus Hypophyllum)
The flowers were ordered to decorate the church and reception venue and I have attached some pictures, I have also attached a photo of my bouquet even though the orchids didn't come from you as I was really pleased with how the finished look turned out!

Jennifer Griffin - Sheffield - 2009
The website is easy to use. I like the design and lay out. The service is second to non. I received calls from you guys without any prompting just to check that I was ok with the site and how to order. I found this very helpful.
The flowers arrived in good time and were packaged very well. They did take an hour or so to revive but then they were blooming and lasted weeks!!! I had Roses and Hydrangea's. I made 4 bouquets, my own and 3 for my bridesmaids. All our guests commented on how lovely they looked and when I told them where I got them from and the cost they were amazed.
(White Hydrangea's, Rosa Akito)
The grooms men wore roses and the girls had Hydrangea's. We also had Hydrangea head on the tables. I have attached photo's for you to add to your website.
I will certainly recommend florist4flowers to all my friends and family.

Denise Beddows - Chalfont St Peter - 2009
I'm writing somewhat belatedly (as we are still awaiting the official wedding photos) to express my extreme delight over the flowers you supplied for my daughter's wedding. Amy had chosen a stunning red silk (shot through with black) dress and so we chose your black baccara roses as the wedding flower. Never having arranged a flower in my life, I decided to keep it simple and use these almost black roses as the sole flower, without other embellishment, to allow their beauty to speak for itself. I had been practising my flower arranging skills beforehand, using 'garage' roses.
The 11 bunches of roses arrived promptly on the Thursday (I nervously tracked their transit progress online). They were wonderfully packaged, and we lost neither a single rose head nor even a single petal. They were in wonderful condition and the scent when we opened the box was lovely. I followed your online care instructions to the letter and the flowers remained perfect. Lemonade and aspirins proved a brilliant suggestion as a substitute for cut flower food (which I could not find locally). I arranged the roses in vases and made up the bouquets for bride and bridesmaids on the Friday, keeping the bouquets in an inch of water in their vases, but made up the buttonholes on the morning of the wedding, and kept them in the fridge until the best man collected them.
(Rosa Black Baccara)
I simply placed generous armfuls of the roses in very tall vases (having trimmed away the lower leaves) and placed the vases all around my house and in our marquee. I also achieved a stunning but informal effect by placing some roses of different heights in smaller vases set inside very shiny silver 'posh' carrier bags. One of the most admired arrangements was the most simple - 3 roses, set at different heights in a tall, slim lily vase in our hallway. I created the bouquets, following the instructions in a helpful video from The Knot (US wedding website), using silk to wrap them (black for the bride and red for the maids); a collar of black tulle and diamante headed pins both to secure the silk and also in the heart of the roses to set them off. The buttonholes were a single rose, with a diamante pin in the centre and black satin ribbon glued around the stem and the stems were thus invisible against the black suits of groom and best man. For table centrepieces, on each table I placed 9 (shortened stem) roses in a 10 cm mirror cube vase, and placed these on an Ikea square mirror tile, with 4 short candles in square glass holders around them, and a sprinkling of star confetti (as the groom is an astrophysicist!).
The wedding ceremony was in a local register office and the reception in a marquee in our garden, and, although it was an informal country type wedding, I think it is fair to say that the roses set the tone for the whole event. I placed a square overlay of black shimmer organza over each white tablecloth and this gave a silver sheen which matched the silver chairs. In the evening, the candlelight, reflected in the mirrors, really added to the ambiance, and our guests were serenaded by a really wonderful singer and guitarist. The roses sat at the heart of the tables and provided sheer elegance.
(Rosa Black Baccara)
All our guests - even the men, and how often do the menfolk even notice flowers, let alone comment upon them? - and the photographer too, greatly admired them. Words such as "magnificent" and "stunning" were banded about. I am currently trying to preserve the bouquets and would like to set one of the roses in acrylic as a keepsake paperweight. One week later, the small table arrangements are gracing the desks of my lady work colleagues and are bringing more admiration. Several of our guests have asked for your details, as they would like to order your flowers for their own future events.
The attached snaps do not begin to do justice to the beauty of the roses. I cannot thank you enough. Of all the wonderful aspects to this very happy day, the roses stood out as a central theme and were simply breathtaking. To any ladies out there who may be contemplating arranging their own wedding flowers, I would recommend using one variety of flower, keeping the arrangements simple, and definitely order your flowers from Flowers4Florists.
Thank you so much.

I would like to say that I was very impressed with the quick delivery and quality of the flowers that I ordered for my friends wedding. She loved the flowers and lots of people commented on them. I hope she won't mind me using the photos but the colour of her bridesmaids was so unusual that I thought others might like to see the combinations used. I was very pleased with the overall quality of the flowers. They were delivered in the morning and I had everything ready to get them into water as soon as they arrived. I was especially worried about the germini but they were so well packaged that there was hardly any damage to the flowers (only 2 heads lost out of 120 flowers). Some of the white roses (Rosa Akito) were a little bruised but survived the 3 days till the wedding easily. The white freesias (Fr e Ambassador) were so beautiful and opened up nicely in time for Saturday (the flowers were delivered on Wednesday).

The flowers were absolutely amazing. They arrived on time and well packaged. We followed the instructions for flower care from the website and they did superb. We used them for my wedding and made the bouquets, flower arrangements, button holes and church pew decorations at home and they were brilliant. They made wonderful memories filled with laughter and excitement as we sat around them fashioning them into bouquets the day before. They complimented the colours of the bridal party beautifully. The flowers arrived exactly when you said they would, and in perfect condition. I make wedding cakes and so work with sugar flowers, but this is the first time I have taken on the supply and arrangement of real flowers at a wedding and I was nervous! In the event, I enjoyed the whole process - receiving the well packed flowers, unpacking and conditioning them as per instructions, and then enjoying them all around the house for a couple of days over Christmas while the lilies and freesias opened - which they did in perfect time for the wedding. The actual arrangement of the flowers was the best bit of the wedding preparations by far - I was left in peace at the reception venue for a whole blissful morning the day before the wedding which provided much needed 'time out' for me. Various hotel staff passed by during the morning and all stopped to admire and compliment the flowers.

We decided to order from Flowers4florists and make our wedding flowers ourselves to save money. Your website was really easy to use. I had a huge amount of exotic flowers for a fraction of the price UK florists were quoting me. I had a lot of fun doing the flowers and my bouquet with my mum and grandma which made the wedding preparations very enjoyable and special. The flowers were amazing and lasted for ages. Gay Corran - West Lulworth - 2008
I recently did the flowers for my daughter’s Civil Partnership ceremony, service of blessing and feast, which were held in the Great Room, Queen’s House, Greenwich. This magnificent setting, with its black and white marble floor and huge windows needs strong colours and shapes for the decorations: delicate effects would be completely lost. The girls didn’t want anything too “bridey”, as they were dressed in elegantly slim cocktail dresses in midnight blue and forest green, overlaid with light-catching sparkles. Candles are forbidden in the building, and the table arrangements had to be brought up from Dorset on the day, both of which set further problems of which style of arrangements and flowers to choose.

Fortunately, the girls liked the idea of using peacock feathers, and agreed that the flower colours should use lighter tones of their dresses: peacock shades heightened with white. They liked the idea of using glass cylinder vases filled with coloured glass “crushed ice”, on black plinths with up lighters set on round mirror bases for the circular tables, with narrow fan-shaped arrangements for the Orangery window sills.

Then came the fun of choosing the flowers. Here, the Flowers4Florists website was ideal: very clearly set out, beautifully photographed and briefly described flowers, well priced; it was easy to make the decisions. I ordered white roses and lisianthus, blue iris, lime green curly chrysanths and lime green lisianthus, with “lucky bamboo” twisty stems to counteract any lingering superstition about using peacock feathers.

They arrived on the chosen day in perfect condition, just ready to spring open. They were easy to transport, once arranged in their cylinders, and to carry up the steps into Queen’s House, where they looked superb. We had to remove them from the building the same evening, and they spent the next five days in the back of my car in a car park near Stansted.

When I got them back to Dorset they lasted for a further three weeks in excellent condition. Three months later the bamboo stems are still looking wonderful, sprouting leaves and forming the basis for many subsequent arrangements, including our forthcoming four – day music festival.

I plan to use Flowers4Florists for all my future flower celebration projects and recommend them very highly for the friendly, efficient service given on both the website and the ‘phone.
